Meet Laura

Laura is the owner of Comfy Bummy Diapers

Hi! My name is Laura and my husband Andy and I share ownership of Comfy Bummy.  We have three children ranging in age from 12-15.  Before we bought Comfy Bummy, I was a stay at home mom to my kids. While I didn’t work outside the home, I stayed actively involved in the community, my kids school and our church.  Prior to staying home, I  had a 10 year career at Accenture Consulting.  It was a wonderful experience that taught me many business and customer relationship skills.

Thanks for taking some time to learn about me and our wonderful Comfy Bummy Team.  We strive to build a comfortable community for all of us to be able to share and grow as parents.  Enjoy, and keep sharing your knowledge!

Meet JJ and Currey!

JJ is Comfy Bummy’s store manager and Currey is our Daddy Blogger!

Howdy Y’all! My name is JJ. My husband and I are originally from Texas so I’m a southern girl at heart.
Before becoming a mom I was a social worker and I loved every moment of the work that I did.  I never dreamed that I’d go from being a counselor to selling cloth diapers but I could not be happier!

My husband,Currey, and I have a daughter, Blythe.  We started cloth diapering her when she was just 2 weeks old and we’ve never looked back.  Like most cloth diapering parents, our journey has been an adventure.  Our stash now contains a little bit of everything as our preferences have changed during different stages of Blythe’s life.  We LOVE our cloth diapers and enjoy educating anyone who will listen about the beauty of cloth!

Meet Jen

Comfy Bummy Marketing Manager

Hello, my name is Jen and I’m the Marketing Manager for Comfy Bummy.  I joined the Comfy Bummy team in May of 2010 after being a Stay-at-Home-Mom to my two boys, Langdon and Everett, since 07.  I wandered into the store while still pregnant with my youngest and decided to ask Laura to walk me through the process.  After an hour of talking with her I knew it was something I wanted to do.  We’ve been cloth diapering Everett since birth and I believe it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.  I feel great every time I change his diaper knowing that I am doing the best that I can for him and our environment where diapers are concerned.

I look forward to sharing our stories with you, learning from you and passing on the knowledge that I have gained over the last year.

 Meet Laura L. (great name!)

Comfy Bummy Education Coordinator

Hello! My name is Laura and I am a “retired” cloth diaper veteran!  I started cloth diapering my oldest child almost 9 years ago when cloth diaper stores were unheard of! I have since cloth diapered and potty trained all three of my kids and wouldn’t do it any other way. I can’t believe I’m old enough to say this but…back in the day, nine years ago, the only option was to research and buy your cloth diapers online. Even though I was finished cloth diapering almost a year ago when I first walked through the doors of Comfy Bummy, I was elated to find such a wonderful little source of information, products and encouragement. I love working in a place that helps parents everyday learn more, get answers to questions, make wise decisions and support one another!

In my spare time, I am also a Bradley®Natural Childbirth instructor and thoroughly enjoy empowering mom’s to overcome their fears, work with their bodies and discover the power they possess to give their baby a natural start.
